The Dallas Cowboys are an American football team playing in the eastern division. They are members of the National Football League commonly known as NFL. The Cowboys are based in Texas at the Valley Ranch. They offer few opportunities for individuals to join them on internship basis. This is how Caitlin Crawford Dallas internship happened.

Cowboys began playing in 1960 as an expansion experiment to fill the gap of missing Southern division teams. Those who started it wanted to offer an opportunity to new players and fill the gap. From the experimental phase, it has expanded to mint millions and win fans across the country and beyond. This has seen it win numerous Super Bowl games over the eyes.

Forbes magazine ranked the Cowboys at position two among the richest NFL clubs. This ranking is for those participating in the American League. The list of wealthy clubs is topped by the New York Yankees. They have an estimated accumulated wealth of two billion dollars which ranks them fifth among other sporting outfits in the world. Their seasonal collection from the game, endorsements and other sources of revenue is 200 million dollars.

The distinct uniform makes the Cowboys to standout amidst the other NFL teams. They have come to be known as Stars and Stripes because of their jersey. The words and lettering on the jersey are written in white with the pinstripes and navy being the other dominant features. The arms are in grey and white strips with a V shaped collar. The home and away games are played in metallic silver pants. Cheer leaders have a distinct off-the-shoulder fitting.

The opportunity for Catlin Crawford to become an intern came after she completed her broadcasting and electronic media studies at University of Oklahoma. The opportunities are rare but provided to freshly graduating students. She comes from Dallas, Texas. Her response to why she accepted the opportunity is still remembered. She claims to have been a fan of this team since birth.

The broadcasting division of the team is run under KRLD-FMA. The radio began broadcasting in 2010 and has remained committed to the team and the sport in general. Babe Laufenberg is the voice behind this radio and has his background in football playing as a quarter back for the Cowboys. The other prominent broadcaster is Sham Brad. The two dominate the airwaves ensuring that every game is broadcast on a minute to minute basis. The partnership with Compass Media Network allowed the local radio to read the entire nation. The partnership was initiated in 2011 to form the Team Radio Network.

The royal blue socks accentuate that white home jersey to ensure that the team stands out among the rest. Each player has a unique number written on the jersey to identify him. The metallic silver and dominant blue colors identify the team.

The internship opportunities offered by such institutions allow graduates to gain practical knowledge about work environment after leaving school. Just like Crawford, ceasing the opportunity allows a person to experience real work environment and apply the things learned in school. A lot of enthusiasm is required of individuals invited for interviews after sending their application letters.
